Creating flexible visual effects in not a problem anymore. It got a quite self-explanable interface. Customizable workspaces are available which can make your creating process easier and quicker. All the panels can be organized in a workspace. You can make custom workspaces. New backgrounds, transitions, and behaviors are added. Different file formats are supported. The workspaces in Adobe After Effects Portable are highly customizable. You can create your own workspaces.

Colors - The bit depth of the image output. You can select 8, 24, or 32 bit. The default is 32 bit, which supports transparency. If you select 24 bit or 8 bit, which do not support transparency, the Background setting changes to Stage.

See below. Background - The color to use as the background color for the image output. This setting is only available when the Colors option is set to 8 bit or 24 bit. When Colors is set to 32 bit, the image background is always transparent. When the Colors option is set to 8 bit or 24 bit, the Backgroundoption defaults to the Stage color. With 8 bit or 24 bit images, you can change the setting to Opaque and then select a background color from the color picker.

Alternatively, choose an alpha value for the background to create transparency. Smooth - Toggles whether to apply smoothing to the edges of the image output. Turn off this option if you are not using a transparent background and images placed on a background color are different from the current color of the Stage.

Choose your desired options in the dialog and click Done to export your animation as animated GIF file. The FXG format helps designers and developers collaborate more efficiently by enabling them to exchange graphic content with high fidelity. Designers can create graphics using Adobe design tools and export them into the FXG format.

When creating an FXG file, vector graphics are stored directly within the file. Elements for which there is no corresponding tag in FXG are exported as bitmap graphics which are then referenced in the FXG file. These include bitmaps, some filters, some blend modes, gradients, masks, and 3D.

When you export a file containing vector and bitmap images using FXG export, a separate folder is created along with the FXG file. Animate allows single or multiple selection of any objects on the stage for export to FXG.

Object and layer names are preserved when exporting to FXG format. Tweens and animation with multiple frames: not exported, but a selected frame is exported as a static object. However, the Match Screen matches the exported image to the size of the Animate content as it appears on your screen. Sets the size of the exported bitmap image to the number of pixels you enter in the Width and Height fields. Enter a resolution in dpi. To use the screen resolution and maintain the aspect ratio of your original image, select Match Screen.

Sets the number of bits per pixel to use in creating the image. The higher the bit depth, the larger the file. The dimensions of the exported GIF are restricted to a value less than pixels. This restriction in dimensions is applicable for versions later than CS6. The Dither Solid Colors option does not function if Colors option is selected. Create bitmap images for use in other applications. The Export Bitmap dialog box has the following options:.

Sets the size of the exported bitmap image in pixels. The size you specify always has the same aspect ratio as your original image. Sets the resolution of the exported bitmap image in dots per inch dpi and automatically calculates width and height based on the size of your drawing. To set the resolution to match your monitor, select Match Screen. Specifies the bit depth of the image.

Applies anti-aliasing to the exported bitmap. Anti-aliasing produces a higher-quality bitmap image, but it can create a halo of gray pixels around an image placed on a colored background. Deselect if a halo appears. To place the Animate content in another application, such as Dreamweaver, export the entire document as a SWF file. Animate allows you to export tweens, symbols, and graphics to High Definition videos of various formats.

Video Export feature has been enhanced to have a seamless integration with Adobe Media Encoder. In Animate, you can choose any video format and its presets supported by AME and, if you select the appropriate option, Animate ensures that the video is queued and even processed automatically in AME.

A higher kbps rate usually improves movie playback quality; however, don't choose a data rate higher than the available bandwidth. Optimized For. Specifies the intended delivery method if you choose H. This setting tells the codec how much the data rate can vary above and below the data rate you choose.

Specifies a standard for sending the file to a mobile phone. Current maintains the source material size; the resulting file may not play on a mobile phone. Choose Custom to specify a size not listed in the menu. Preserve Aspect Ratio Using. Letterbox scales the source proportionally to fit into the clean aperture, adding black bars to the top and bottom or sides as necessary.

Crop centers, scales, and trims to the clean aperture. Specifies the frames per second fps during playback. In most cases, your video looks better if you choose a number that your source fps is exactly divisible by. For example, if your source is captured at 30 fps, choose a frame rate of 10 or Don't choose a rate larger than that of your source material. Specifies how frequently key frames are created in the exported video. A higher key frame rate lower number improves video quality, but increases the file size.

Video Options. With H. All audio options are disabled because Photoshop Extended does not include audio in exported 3G files. All text options are disabled because Photoshop Extended does not include text tracks in exported 3G files. Enable Streaming. This option creates a hint track instructions necessary for streaming a file. Optimize For Server.

Restrict Distribution. Specifies how many times the file can play back on the handset once downloaded. Also specifies file expiration options: set the file to expire in a number of days or enter a date. If your file is in Mobile MP4 or EZmovie format, you can restrict distribution so that once the file is on a handset it can't be sent or copied elsewhere. Fragment Movie. Enables the file to download via HTTP in small pieces so that playback can start faster and so that larger files can be played on the handset only the fragment, not the entire movie, must fit on the handset at one time.

Specifies the color table using the Windows system colors or Mac OS system colors in the exported movie. Compression Type. Frame Per Second. Specifies the number of individual images shown every second. NTSC is generally the standard video format and is PAL is a European video format that is 25 fps.

The standard for film is 24 fps. QuickTime movies are sometimes created with a slower frame rate to reduce bandwidth and CPU requirements. Movies with higher frame rates display motion better, but have larger file sizes. If you choose a frame rate that's lower than the movie's current frame rate, frames are deleted. If you choose a number that's higher than the movie's current frame rate, existing frames are duplicated not recommended, since it increases file size without improving quality.

In most cases, your video will look better if you choose a number that your source fps is exactly divisible by. Key Frame Every. Specifies the key frame frequency. With some compressors, an additional key frame is inserted automatically if too much of the image has changed from one frame to the next.

In general, one key frame every 5 seconds multiply the frames per second by 5 is usually sufficient. If you are creating a file for RTSP streaming and have concerns about the reliability of the delivery network, you may want to increase key frame frequency to one key frame every 1 or 2 seconds.

Limit Data Rate To. Specifies the number of colors to include in video that you export. This menu is not available if the selected codec supports only one color depth. Increasing quality above the original capture quality does not increase quality, but may result in longer rendering times. Aspect Ratio. The following options are available in the DV Export Settings dialog box:.

Specifies an option if the movie is scaled to new pixel dimensions. Typically, QuickTime is used to export video files. Click Settings to access the following options:. Frames Per Second. Insert Space Before Number. For more information on the specific file formats and their options, see also Saving and exporting images and File formats.

Chooses the codec to compress your video. For the highest quality at the lowest data rate or the smallest file , H.

Specifies how much the data rate can vary above and below the data rate you choose. Specifies the pixel dimensions of your exported video. Current maintains the source material size. To specify a size not listed in the Image Size menu, choose Custom. Specifies an option if the movie needs to be scaled to the new pixel dimensions.

Fit Within Size adjusts to the destination size by fitting to the longest side, scaling if necessary. Specifies the frame rate for the playback of your exported video. Usually, your video looks better if you choose a number that is exactly divisible by the frames per second fps of your source.

Specifies that key frames are generated automatically or specifies how frequently key frames are created in the exported video. This can help regain synchronization due to transmission errors.

Restrict Profile s To. Encoding Mode. Although the Movie Settings dialog box displays Sound options, you cannot adjust the current audio settings. To include audio in exported files, see Preview audio for video layers. Opens the Standard Video Compression Settings dialog box so you can set the video compression and accompanying options.
